Dasha Gaian

Dasha Gaian is a trauma-informed coach, facilitator, and collective trauma practitioner with a multidisciplinary and multicultural background. She is a member of the Global Restoration Institute team, contributing to initiatives that embed trauma-informed and somatic approaches into peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and policymaking.

Drawing on neuroscience, somatic awareness, and systems thinking, Dasha facilitates individual and group processes in English, Ukrainian, and Russian. She supports clients and communities in regulating symptoms of personal, transgenerational, and collective trauma while fostering resilience, emotional intelligence, and embodied leadership. Her practice integrates influences from Somatic Experiencing, NARM, IFS, and Polyvagal Theory.

She is also a co-creator of The Art of Collective Integration, a trauma-informed practice and framework used for transforming fragmentation in human systems into coherence, resilience, and wholeness.

With more than 20 years of international and cross-sector experience, Dasha has contributed a variety of skills, such as brand strategy, design, web development, copywriting and organizational consulting to a wide range of clients, from environmental and social justice non-profits to businesses and artists. She contributed to the creation of a variety of programs, from online courses to large scale international events, such as the Collective Trauma Online Summit, which engaged over 100,000 participants worldwide. Her background includes interpretation for legal and humanitarian settings, translation of influential works such as The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron, and various photography projects across Europe and the Americas.  

Born in Ukraine and having lived in multiple cultures, Dasha brings a lived understanding of resilience and interconnectedness to her work, supporting both individual transformation and collective restoration.
